Trevor is the love of my life; next to my boyfriend!!!  Well, Trevor came first, so.....   :)

A coworker had a friend who woke up one morning and found a mom (black Lab) and a litter of 9 puppies on her front porch!  Someone had left them there overnight.  The girl they left them with was SOOO great at taking care of them.  She made sure each puppy had a home and she kept the mom and one puppy for herself.  She wouldn't let anyone take them until they were 8 weeks old (she figured when she got them they were 2-3 weeks old), and when she had made the whelping box for Momma, she laid some old sweaters of hers for her to lay down on.  When we came to pick up Trevor McGregor, she cut a piece of the sweater for him and each of the puppies so they had their Momma's scent!!  I thought that was so sweet.

 

So, he's 9 yrs old since March and he looks just like a Chocolate Lab and acts like one too, but who really knows what he is.  He is SOO lovable and when my boyfriend and I started dating, he didn't care that much for dogs AND he is allergic.  Well, THAT has ALL changed as you can see in some of the pics I've attached.  He loves to swim, play with his toys and play sticks, but in his elder years he has gotten kind of crotchety!  I hate to say MY child is like that, but he is!  He doesn't like ANY other dogs (and it used to be just the boys) and he just keeps to himself, other than Chris and I.  Chris and I just got engaged the beginning of this month and we are going to have him in our engagement AND wedding pictures.  If a church would let me, I would let him walk me down the aisle!!!
