So far, a Success!!
The Helmet Law and Child Restriction Bill were not brought out of the Committee this year!!
Although, Bill #921 & Bill #5145 were passed on April 1st.
Keep in mind, any of the bills listed below can be attached as amendments to other bills during the year. You can search bills at the following website: http://www.cga.state.ct.us
CMRA Update On Helmet Law Legislative ~ 4/1/03
"The Transportation has scheduled two committee meetings. One on March 31st and again on April 2nd. The April 2nd meeting is their committee deadline. At that point we should have a good handle on the bill - I believe it may not get out of committee this year. Keep in mind if the bills don't make it out of committee there is a a good chance they die for this year with the exception of an amendment process during the Senate & House session days."
